Waynetown, June 16 - Austin E. Livengood, son of Ernest E. Livengood, well known Waynetown resident passed away at his home in Denver, Colo Tuesday morning. His death was caused by a hemorrhage of the lungs and came unexpectedly.

Mr. Livengood was 36 years old and the son of Ernest E. and Anna A. Andrews Livengood.  He was born in Crawfordsville Jan 26, 1901.  Mr. Livengood came to Waynetown with his parents in 1909 and 15 years ago was united in marriage with Catherine Talkington of Indianapolis.

Residence was established in Denver twelve years ago where the family home had since been maintained.  He was assistant cashier in the state treasurer's office there when he died.

Mr. Livengood was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason of Denver. He was a graduate of the Waynetown High School.

Surviving are: the widow, a three-months old son, David Robert, the father, stepmother, a brother, Paul of St. Louis, Mo; two sisters, Mrs. EV Mooney of Chicago and Mrs. Lee Shanks of East St. Louis and an aunt, Mrs. EM Keller of Crawfordsville.

The body will arrive in Crawfordsville Thursday noon and will be taken to the home of the father at Waynetown. Brief funeral services will be held at the home here at 2 o'clock Friday.  Following this service the body will be taken to the Waynetown Christian Church where additional services will be held.  

The church rites will be held at 3 o'clock and the remains will lie in state preceding the service. The Rev. JC Nelson of Indianapolis will preach the funeral sermon.  The ritual of the Masonic Lodge also will be given at the church.  Burial will take place at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
